The opportunity

As M&A Manager/Senior Manager you are responsible for identifying, sourcing and supervising Merger and Acquisition processes in the Portuguese market.

You analyse acquisition targets for customers or identify potential buyers. You know the dynamics of the market and on the basis of financial data you and your team make valuation analyses and financial models that help in realising transactions. You look at how details fit into the bigger picture. You approach various stakeholders and assist our clients in the negotiations and the design of the transaction.

 

Requirements

As a M&A Manager/Senior Manager, in addition to being responsible for various projects, you also have an eye for the development of your team and you like motivating and coaching people in their work. In addition, you maintain your network and you enjoy being actively engaged in expanding and increasing your business. You recognize yourself in this profile:

  • A completed university education from a reputable University, ideally in a Finance related topic (Master’s Degree is highly desirable);
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in cross-border M&A, for example at an investment bank, an M&A boutique, a "Big 4", within private equity or in a corporate development department of a multinational;
  • Experience in deal execution, acquisition and project management;
  • Strong communication, presentation & project management skills.
