Position Description:

What is the role?
The GPS Inclusion and Diversity Associate will provide execution and day to day support related to Inclusion and Diversity (ID) programs. Inclusion and Diversity is a firm-wide strategic priority and PIMCO believes in a diverse workforce, where all employees can bring their authentic selves to work and know that they belong and are valued. The ID team builds on current efforts to attract, develop, retain and engage top talent and oversees essential inclusion practices and critical metrics to measure progress in these areas. As part of Global People Services, the Inclusion and Diversity Associate will support the ID team and work collaboratively across the global HR team to execute the ID road-map to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity that helps our employees and clients thrive.

Responsibilities:
• Execute on Inclusion and Diversity's broad range of projects and programs directly and in partnership with others
• Manage ID related HR inquiries by monitoring tickets in inquiry management system (ServiceNow) and respond in timely, accurate manner (1 business day) and/or liaise with appropriate internal HR partners to ensure appropriate response when necessary
• Coordinate, track and report on ID team activities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the firm's ID programs and activities, prioritizing action items and initiatives daily
• Collect, format and support analysis of data to identify trends, insights and gaps to inform strategy as well as relevant programming
• Collaborate with colleagues globally to support regional, local, and remote employees' needs, issues, and initiatives
• Provide flexible approaches that meet team needs, including the ability to move fast and make progress or navigate blocks quickly
• Collect quantitative and qualitative feedback to measure impact and support optimization of future efforts
• Collaborate with GPS colleagues and broader HR teams to ensure ID concepts are integrated into talent acquisition processes, talent development learning curriculums and annual employee lifecycles practices
• Maintain current industry knowledge to remain up to date on current best practices impacting ID

Position Requirements:

Qualifications:
• Passionate about diversity and inclusion
• Demonstrated experience with relationship management and successfully partnering with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to include written, oral, listening, and presentation, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment
• High level of integrity; ability to handle confidential information ethically, professionally and appropriately
• Thrives while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency for all requests
• Affinity for technology, ability to think with a "tech mindset," and interest in or knowledge of new HR technologies such as ServiceNow & Workday
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service with strong attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness
• Strong collaboration skills, effective at gathering and synthesizing information from multiple parties
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize while meeting rigorous deadlines; displays results orientation
• Strong critical evaluation skills - ability to apply sound judgement and identify the root causes of problems through an expanded, holistic view vs. looking at smaller, discrete parts or at symptoms in isolation
• Highly professional manner, with the ability to interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization
• Ability to learn quickly; demonstrates aptitude for learning global employment practices
• Exhibits intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness to find additional information to better understand issues and topics at hand and uses this information to present thoughtful new ideas

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of related experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Workday and/or ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform
• Flexible to work overtime as required, in-line with business needs
