Position Description:

What's the Role?
The Training and Development Associate role requires a high degree of professionalism, organization, and detail orientation, coupled with the ability to multitask and prioritize. This role will provide support for our global Leadership & Organizational Development and Learning programs. You will partner with our Leadership & Organizational Development, Learning, HR Strategy and Communications, and Workday HR teams to develop and deploy marketing and communications campaigns to HR and employees. You'll manage the library of navigation guides, FAQs, and other materials that are both written and digital; you'll be asked to create content to support the training of HR and employees on talent processes and programs as well. You'll be the team's PULSE (PIMCO's intranet) expert, liaising with colleagues to build sites for their own management, and manage sites under the Training and Development team's own remit. Additionally, you'll manage the team's contracting and budgeting process with keen detail orientation and proactivity. PIMCO's functional leads for Learning, Leadership & Organizational Development, Inclusion & Diversity, and Global People Services Talent Delivery will be important stakeholders. You will contribute to the team's focus on our goal to be a firm committed to developing top talent by providing access to targeted development that builds capability, increases capacity and improves overall effectiveness and performance.

Responsibilities:
• Create clear, concise, and informative instructional content to be leveraged by HR and employees as they perform talent-related processes in Workday.
• Leverage print, digital, and social networking (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Brainshark, Camtasia, Slack, etc.) platforms to disburse content
• Ensure all navigation guides, FAQs, and other materials are updated regularly, user-friendly, easy to find
• Create new content as necessary to support new or updated programs and Workday functionality launches
• Support program execution lead by Talent Development Delivery Team members, L&OD, Learning, and PIMCO's Employee Resource Groups. This may include coordination of logistics, collaboration with facilitators/presenters, production/disbursement of materials, leveraging Workday Learning, communicating with participants, day-of support and post-event follow up.
• Launch and maintain various intranet sites, ensuring accurate and timely information is available
• Accurately record budget details and report out on regular basis to main stakeholders, including helping to plan for future year(s)
• Manage vendor contracting process, seeking approval from relevant parties and maintaining accurate records
• Act as point-person for inbound team inquiries via ServiceNow; proactively and accurately respond to inbound communications and requests from employees and HR colleagues to the team's general email mailbox and phone lines
• Provide thoughtful, accurate and timely information to HR colleagues and employees, managers, and business leaders

Position Requirements:

Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to synthesize complex processes down to simple, actionable steps
• 2-4 years of experience in human resources learning or talent development
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Strong critical thinking skills - ability to exercise judgement and take initiative
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment including sense of urgency for all requests
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously
• Willingness to embrace new HR technologies and changing processes
• Ability to balance working independently, proactively, and under pressure to meet frequent deadlines, with working collaboratively amongst team members and colleagues
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately
• Ability to learn quickly
• Exhibit intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness to find additional information to better understand issues and topics at hand and uses this information to present thoughtful new ideas
• Bachelor's Degree
