Position Description:

PIMCO launched the HR Governance & Strategic Projects Team as part of our Operational Transformation to instill governance over all our processes globally and improved data and analytical capability to drive business decisions along with even tighter alignment of our operational capabilities and processes. Knowledge Management is responsible for partnering across HR functions to manage a governance and documentation process for our HR policies and standard operating procedures. Building a global HR governance framework ensuring appropriate standards and quality of service across all our key policies and processes are well-documented and streamlined.

What's the Role?
The position is part of Knowledge Management team and will primarily manage the coordination and delivery of responses of HR related client inquiries, acting as a liaison between HR subject matter experts and PIMCO's staff that work directly with clients (including our Legal teams and PIMCO's Client Management teams across the globe). Secondarily, the position will support the ongoing efforts of building out PIMCO HR's knowledge, which includes the optimization and documentation of standard operating procedures, as well as supporting the efforts to organize HR specific content that enables the HR teams to provide premium and comprehensive support to our employee population. As the function evolves and the continues to expand its remit, the Associate will also be asked to support new responsibilities.

• Manage the overall process of HR related client inquiries with regard to HR Operations, Inclusion and Diversity practices, and HR related statistics including:

o Organize, coordinate, and deliver responses in a timely manner

o Organize and maintain an HR client inquiry content library of standard responses

o Contribute to the HR client inquiry content with a lens of Inclusion and Diversity

o Document, communicate, and continuously optimize the HR client inquiry process

• Support process improvement and Workday process optimization - maximizing technology, including but not limited to, process build out, automation, and organizational alignment

o Onboarding

o Offboarding and terminations

o Transfers

o Documentation for HR systems and process enhancements

o Focus on data and system analysis to identify trends and drive new ideas

• Partner with HR Functional Teams to build and enhance the HR Knowledge database
• Work collaboratively to improve efficiency and consistently execute all HR business processes

Position Requirements:

• Affinity for technology, thinking with a "tech mindset," and knowledge of new HR technologies such as ServiceNow & Workday and experience in technology process improvement
• Ability to drive change, managing across multiple stakeholders and functional teams involved in processes
• Excellent critical evaluation skills - ability to apply sound judgement and identify needs through an expanded, holistic view
• Strong collaboration skills, effective at gathering and synthesizing information from multiple parties
• Ability to multi-task across multiple priorities, focus on ownership and results orientation while meeting rigorous deadlines
• Thrives while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency for all requests
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service with strong attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness
• High level of integrity; ability to handle confidential information ethically, professionally and appropriately
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Highly professional manner, with the ability to interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization
• Ability to learn quickly; demonstrates aptitude for learning global practices and processes
• Ability to quickly adapt to learning new software applications

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of work experience, preferably with an exposure to HR, as well as Inclusion and Diversity
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Workday and ServiceNow
• Familiarity with HR processes, procedures & documentation practices
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Flexible to work overtime as required, in-line with business needs
