Trader, Top Chinese Fund (over USD 10 bn)

Responsibilities:

Execute trade orders for Hong Kong and US (occasionally) market on a timely and accurate, liaison with brokers to resolve trading issues
Together with mid-back office to ensure pre-trade and post-trade compliance via systems
Liaise with Risk, Trading and Investment team to review the portfolio, trading plans, potential risks with clients' risk appetite and investment universe preference and coordinate internally to smoothen the portfolio rebalancing
Manage market and trading instrument access across various accounts under management
Handle IPO, private placement, block trading etc participation
Work with internal and external counterparts to automate trading workflows and enhance execution accuracy and efficiency
Handle brokers' onboarding, maintenance and/or development of relationships with the aim to build strategic partnership development

Regularly reviews and evaluate broker performance from various perspectives and provide timely feedback to brokers for further improvement including review of brokers' electronic trading policy, algorithm
Collect and analyze transaction commission paid and broker resource consumption data to achieve broker resource optimization

Qualifications:

Passionate about the Fund Management industry
At least 2-3 years of working experience in asset management or investment banking preferably in equities.
Good English and Mandarin skills are a must
CFA holder or candidate is a plus
Knowledge of margin financing is a plus
Willingness to learn and adapt, constantly multi-tasking and "hands-on" to deliver
Able to work independently and self-motivated, proactive, detail and result-oriented
