Following mass success and growth, including the opening of offices in Europe, Asia and the US, this company looking to expand their Central London office through the hiring of an Emerging Markets Analyst.

Essential Skills and Responsibilities

  • Carry out EM and ESG analysis for the purpose of providing recommendations and establishing databases for internal and stakeholder use.
  • The analysis may be across multiple sectors, driven by portfolio considerations, economic environment, news backgrounds etc.
  • Maintain and produce databases of Credit and ESG information on corporate issuers within coverage remit.
  • Share and discuss analysis with other team members as well as other fund management teams.
  • Ability to run financial models and perform details financial analysis.
  • Qualitative and Quantitative research and analytical skills relating to investment strategies.
  • Attend research meetings and discuss analysis internally and externally.
  • Assist with presentations and with the production of monthly data configuration.
  • Manage risk within your area of responsibility to minimise error.
  • Communication, attention to detail and numerate.


Background

  • You are educated to degree level or possess the equivalent industry experience and hold, or are willing to undertake an IMC/ CFA.
  • Proven quantitative skills and qualitative skills, including the ability to build and run financial model and perform detailed financial analysis.
  • A deep interest in ESG analysis and keen to develop these skills.
  • Significant working knowledge of relevant markets and investing.
  • Fundamental research skills & solid knowledge of credit analysis.
  • You have good organisational skills - capable of working to deadlines and multi-tasking
