Position Description:

We are seeking a high-performing, dynamic and energetic candidate for a leadership role on our Americas Client Marketing Team. The Americas Client Marketing team drives the marketing strategy for some of our most important businesses, including U.S. Institutional, Consultant Relations, Variable Annuity, Financial Institutions, and Retail and Institutional marketing across the U.S., Latin America, and Canada.
As a Vice President, Client Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-quality, highly effective campaigns, growth marketing initiatives, and marketing collateral that drive client engagement and marketing outcomes in partnership with our client-facing partners.

This role will report to the Head of Americas Client Marketing and will be part of PIMCO's Global Marketing organization.

  • Lead and develop strategic marketing plans to drive business results and deepen PIMCO's engagement with clients using paid media, digital, events, and social tools
  • Develop marketing collateral and resources that support effective client conversations and amplify delivery of investment insights
  • Create optimized account-based marketing programs, identify existing clients and prospects, and encourage leads through the sales funnel
  • Lead the enablement of personalized client experiences at scale through growth marketing programs
  • Become a student of PIMCO's clients, their needs, and the PIMCO sales process; use that knowledge to connect data, content, and experiences that create measurable outcomes for PIMCO
  • Track immediate metrics and longer-term trends, informing optimization and rationalization for future efforts
  • Gather, interpret, and share baseline metrics and actionable insights with Marketing and Sales partners
  • Provide insights for compelling internal, external, and third-party events that drive meaningful engagement
  • Build and maintain strong and impactful relationships with stakeholders across sales and business management teams and closely partner with our internal sales desk
  • Serve as a client and business expert to help shape the direction and scope of PIMCO's broader marketing efforts
  • Stay on top of and champion industry best practices and trends

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial services marketing, including exposure to Institutional and Retail Marketing
  • Proven experience executing strategic marketing initiatives
  • Prior people leadership experience preferred
  • Deeply analytical and data-driven
