Associate - Private Markets (Private Equity & Venture Capital)

Covering private equity and venture capital investments (multi-strategy with a global mandate) for a newly established investment vehicle:

• Support the senior team members across the investment platform by analyzing and performing due diligence across direct private equity, co-investment opportunities, private equity and venture capital funds

• Involvement in all aspects of the investment process including leading oversight of legal matters

• Carry out regular work for portfolio companies, supporting them with follow-on investments and/or prepare exits
• Develop a network of key players in the industry among other investors, entrepreneurs, and advisors

• Monitor the existing investments for consistency to stated strategy, performance, trends and other quantitative and qualitative aspects

• Training junior peers and providing guidance

Requirements

• Previous experience (4-6 years) at a leading investment bank or private equity firm

• Demonstrable track record of executing M&A transactions

• Outstanding analytical skills and robust commercial judgement with experience in financial modelling, deal analysis and portfolio management

• Degree and / or MBA from a top-tier university. CFA / CAIA is a plus

• Fluent in English; additional languages is a plus
