Credit Specialist is responsible for originating, underwriting, documentation and monitoring of Credit facilities & relationships in support of the Investment Portfolio Management Team.
  • Responsible for all credit analysis for single name credit exposure for the firm's Investment Portfolio. Support Portfolio Managers in credit evaluation.
  • Sectors include Supranational, Sub-sovereign, Agencies and Covered Bonds across multi -demographic regions.
  • Access/Monitor credit strength of current and prospective issuers. Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial statements, credit strengths and weaknesses & assessment of credit requests including new requests and credit limit increases.
  • Interface with second line risk and credit teams within the bank.
  • Analyze market trends and microeconomic conditions to provide management with quality risk assessment that ensures the adequate pricing of risk.
  • Provides thoughtful credit solutions based on research and market knowledge. Provide credit recommendations to team members and maintain internal rating scores for given exposures.
  • Follow external rating agency reviews and rating actions
  • Conducts special projects at the direction of management.
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance or economics preferred. MBA, CFA, or CPA/CA preferred. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred.
