Job Description
Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a Multinational Corporate Bank who are well known for their corporate and transactional banking services in APAC.

The Singapore team is looking for an experienced VP to join their Risk Management department, reporting to the regional team based in Hong Kong. As a risk analyst, you are expected to perform credit risk analysis and monitoring on Asian corporates, particularly Southeast Asian corporates. You will also be responsible for Singapore Branch's risk approvals, monitoring and reporting.

Role and responsibilities
  • Prepare various kinds of credit ratings including financial analysis, projection and industry analysis
  • Analyze proposals (new, renewal, modification and waiver) prepared by Front Office. Presentation of proposals to various committees for approvals
  • Monitor and report existing and potential credit issues. Recommend and implement appropriate actions accordingly
  • Organize and coordinate regular Singapore Branch Risk Committees and prepare monthly reports to monitor exposure, risk metrics and profitability
  • Prepare risk reporting at the Branch Level for regulators and handle inquiries of regulators and auditors
  • Monitor and report latest changes in MAS' banking and credit regulation. Update Singapore Branch Risk manual regularly.
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant disciplines from a recognized university
  • Candidate with MBA, CFA, ACCA, CPA or FRM qualifications is plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in credit analysis and credit proposal preparation covering clients across different segments (MNCs and mid-cap)
  • Candidate with experience in ASEAN (particularly Singapore) markets are preferred
  • Strong financial analysis and cash flow projection skills with knowledge of bilateral/ syndicated loan facility, trade finance and derivative products
  • Presentation and communication skills will be highly valued
  • Understanding of MAS banking and credit regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure, team work and flexibility attitude
