Investment Risk and Critical / Distressed Deal Analysis AVP / VP, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Our client is a private equity team with a strong track record. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate / VP to join a rapidly growing investment risk team based in Saudi Arabia. The role will focus on supporting the international private equity, infrastructure and real estate teams with all investment deal risk analysis and advisory activities within the critical / distressed assets. The role will be based full-time in Riyadh.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders in relation to critical / distressed assets framework
• Co-ordinate with portfolio companies and funds in relation to risk assessment of critical / distressed assets
• Perform regular portfolio monitoring of critical / distressed assets in line with established thresholds
• Perform deep-dive risk analysis on critical and distressed investments and during crisis situations that warrant additional risk analysis
• Take responsibility for reviewing due diligence reports, financial model assumptions & investment memos for various investment transactions

YOUR PROFILE:

• Experience from one or more of the following: a top-tier investment bank, strategy consulting firm or the Big 4 / another advisory firm, or a venture capital / private equity firm
• You should have a degree from a top-tier university in Engineering, Statistics, Finance or a related field
• Masters and/or CFA is preferred
• Experience of reviewing due diligence reports, financial model assumptions & investment memos for various investment transactions
• Preferred systems knowledge includes Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Power BI / Tableau, Prequin, Pitchbook etc
• Willingness and ability to relocate and be based in Saudi Arabia full time
