  • This is a Business Development role within IHS Markit's Financial Services Solutions division, residing with the Commercial Strategy team in Credit-focused solutions, serving buyside and asset servicer client segments. This individual will execute commercial strategy goals in close collaboration with Sales , Marketing and Product . This role will report to Vice President, Commercial Strategy, Credit Solutions, working closely with Liquid Credit and Private Debt vertical leads and operations teams .

    The Solutions Division within IHS Markit is a fast paced, highly collaborative, and results-driven group within IHS Markit's most strategic and fastest growing division. We provide industry-leading software and outsourcing services across the front-to-back office lifecycle for liquid and illiquid markets. The capabilities are designed and delivered across WSO, iLevel , Clearpar and thinkFolio products .

    What You'll Do:

    • Create the go-to-market sales strategy for the Investment Accounting Solutions , which will include a total addressable market analysis, defining prospect s target, refining our pricing strategy and outlining our value prop o sition for different customer types
    • Collaborate with customers and design partners who are CFO s , Controller s and Accountants
    • P artner with Op erations teams to define service model and deliverables
    • Work with sales engineering to refine the product demos that are given to prospect ive clients
    • Partner with sales on opportunities to ensure we are selling into the right target audience


    • Review , update , and manage sales enablement collateral
    • Conduct regular check - ins with client management
    • Communicate prospect and client feedback to the product teams ; partnering o n the new offering s design
    • Create visibility and education around our business, with a specific focus on our Integrated Service offering
    • Identify thought leadership events and organize roundtable discussions with the support of sales and marketing


    • Partner with marketing to develop white paper s , case studies , newsletters , surveys, marketing campaigns , and press releases
    • Educate sales , client management , and broader IHS Markit teams on our value proposition , our competitors, and how we are positioned to win
    • Bring the 360-degree knowledge and voice of the customer/market
    • Attend product roadmap meetings and understand other adjacent products

    What You'll Need:

    • 10+ years ' e xperience in Investment Accounting , Fund Accounting or Fund Administration across Alternatives and Fixed Income
    • Deep understanding of US GAAP and IFRS reporting guidelines
    • 5 + years' experience working within Loans/Credit software and outsourcing services at a financial services company or asset manager
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead and influence internal and external stakeholders
    • Curiosity to analyze data and develop meaningful commentary explaining trends in our business


    • Experience working in a growing global organization
    • Strong time management and project management skills
    • Experience in creating product promotion materials, articles and public speaking
    • Exceptional organization al skills


    A Plus If You Have:

    • CPA , CFA or similar certification
    • Have a deep understanding of credit markets , personas and complexities of the loan asset class
    • Direct experience with the following software applications: Advent Geneva, PAM , Enfusion , VPM or similar general ledger s
    • Previous experience with Salesforce
