Vice President/ Senior Vice President, Debt Capital Market

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Department Head to originate new transactions and co-ordinate effective marketing solutions to corporate and institutional clients
• Develop new clients and maintain relationship with existing clients
• Assist Department Head to manage DCM deal sourcing, and work closely with syndicate function, manage the deal process including price guidance with issuer clients, term sheet instruction, obtaining credit approval, security documentation negotiation and deal execution
• Preparation of marketing and pitching materials and participate in bond covenants negotiation with issuers and legal counsels.
• Liaise with internal and external counterparties where necessary
• Ensure full compliance with internal and external legal and regulatory requirements;
• Support other routine and ad-hoc projects as required

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent disciplines plus professional qualification of CPA/CFA/FRM is preferable
• Holder of Representative Licenses under HKMA/SFC regulated activities for Type 1 and 4 is preferable
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in DCM or related fields
• Previous experience in fixed income syndicate or DCM execution is considered an asset
• Solid exposure in the primary market covering a wide spectrum of corporate and institutional clients, and experienced with products ranging from plain vanilla to structured finance deals
• Good knowledge in fixed income products;
• Proven financial, commercial and business acumen; good experience in related loan documentation
• Proactive, exceptional negotiation, credit analytical and presentation skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Senior Manager/ Manager Level.)
