Job Description

Step into an instrumental role. Work as an employee of Windsor Oak Wealth Management, a Private Wealth Advisory Practice of Ameriprise Financial, LLC.

The Trader / Portfolio Analyst will primarily assist the practice in constructing and maintaining investment portfolios, as well as executing transactions to rebalance and manage client accounts. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and performing work duties.

This role provides investment management support as well as client relationship management through working with clients to resolve issues, facilitating securities trades or other transactions, managing portfolios, determining asset allocation for client accounts, and completing other practice management tasks as needed. Responds to ad hoc requests, coordinates/tracks projects and manages regular business processes.

Responsibilities and time allocation may change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor asset allocation and individual securities of client portfolios
  • Prepare charts, graphs, tables and other visual aids to be used in implementation meetings with clients
  • Develop portfolio and product solution recommendations that fit the client's risk tolerance and time frame as well as develop appropriate product deliverables
  • Review and update client information as needed for client review meetings
  • Manage and resolve client service problems
  • Accept and complete securities orders and money movement requests, as well as assist in managing and rebalancing investment portfolios
  • Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisor(s)

  • Ability to support and provide guidance for compliance within the advisor's practice

Education and Other Designations:
  • College degree or higher
  • 2+ years of similar experience, preferably within the Ameriprise system (not required)
  • Already have or be able to study for and pass exams for federal and state licenses and
  • registrations for securities, including Series 7, Series 66, and State life, accident and
  • health insurance licenses
  • CIMA®, AMPA®, and CFA designations a plus
