Position Description:

Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO) seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for its Newport Beach, CA location. Job ID 31302

Duties: Design, develop and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) automation frameworks. Gather, review, and analyze end user and business requirements. Develop architecture, define objectives, and engage in framework development. Develop code in Java, VbScript, and Structured Query Language (SQL) for automation framework. Implement data driven and keyword driven frameworks using unified functional testing and behavior driven testing using Selenium and Cucumber Frameworks. Lead, develop and implement robotics process automation framework for business processes. Implement Selenium driven framework for cross browser and cross-platform testing. Prepare detailed test plans and test cases, and consult with business analysts regarding testing options and strategies including applicable regulatory requirements. Prepare schedules and estimates, and provide input to program level testing deliverables. Lead cross-functional test teams to achieve project objectives. Execute and monitor testing activities and ensure they are completed as planned. Perform estimation using function point estimation technique to estimate Quality Assurance effort for each release and project. Track, report and verify software defects to ensure issue resolution. Coordinate testing efforts and complete testing within planned deadlines and budget. Execute core testing activities for functional, load, regression, security and performance testing.

Position Requirements:

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or related field, and five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in the position offered or related position. Employer will also accept a Master's degree in the stated fields and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or related position. Full term of required experience must include: Developing and executing scripts to automate functional end-to-end testing; Developing and maintaining an Agile testing framework that enhances Agile development practices; Performing quality assurance testing of software products through all phases of software development life cycle using Functional testing and regression/integration testing; Undertaking power business intelligence reporting to develop interactive models using Data Captured during Quality Assurance Activities; Utilizing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Quality Center to perform Quality Assurance plan, test set, and defect tracking; Utilizing SQL to perform database testing and complete ad-hoc reporting requests.
