Responsible for the oversight and management of credit risk related to an assigned portfolio of European focused corporate and leveraged finance loan and derivatives clients, active in a broad range of industries, including transportation, utilities, telecommunications, services, healthcare and general industrial.
The role includes: The risk assessment of those counterparties; Assigning an indicative Borrower Risk Rating at origination and adjudicating subsequent Borrower Risk Rating reviews; Approving (within delegated authorities) or recommending the credit risk exposure (lending and trading credit) to those entities.
Skills/ Experience Required

Skills/ Experience Required
- Extensive credit risk management experience obtained in a financial institution (ideally within a financial conglomerate), rating agency, regulatory and/or other comparable environment.
- Corporate Credit experience within the following sectors is favourable: Industrials, Pharma, Tech, TMT, Retail, Utilities.
- Experience Dealing with Leveraged Finance transactions
- French or German language skills helpful but not essential
- CFA or Accounting qualifications preferable
- Strong negotiation, oral and written communication skills. • Solution orientation. • Ability to handle a significant and diverse workload.
