Description:

The Information Liaison is an integral member of the Centralized Private Equity Team supporting private investments within investment strategies.  The CPET has been established to manage and oversee the Firm’s investments in private companies both during and following the investment process. The incumbent will work directly with the Head of Centralized Private Equity, Private Equity Capital Markets Trader, Legal, the Valuation Team and the private companies on private placements participation information management across all strategies.  Additionally, the liaison will be charged with coordination of client inquiries and audit requests for private investment information.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Track and maintain board and information rights for each issuing company
  • Contact issuers when any expected information is overdue and elevate to Head of Centralized Private Equity or others if necessary
  • Develop and maintain master record of T. Rowe Price personnel assigned to each issuer board
  • Establish and oversee the dissemination of information including board decks/meeting minutes and quarterly financials, to appropriate parties internally and externally
  • Manage and coordinate inquiries from external accounting and auditors – including sending audit documents to customers and responding to or coordinating fulfillment of audit requests
  • Act as key information manager for private placements among investment staff, legal, and other departments as necessary for post deal closing activities, inquires, and documentation requests
  • Work on projects and other tasks involving the aggregation of data from private transactions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operational or legal experience in private equity investments
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and people management skills
  • Experience in regulatory, industry, and/or paralegal experience in reviewing contracts and legal documentation and/or coordinating transaction settlements
  • Ability to understand and communicate on financial matters
  • Strong technical skills (intermediate/advanced) with spreadsheets and databases, (Access and Excel)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and produce results without close supervision
