The Director of Sales will be responsible for offering software, equities ratings data, and model strategies to portfolio managers who work for independent RIAs and Family Offices. Most of the presentations are done online. You will be assisted in generating meetings by a dedicated inside sales resource but ideal candidates will also have a wide network of prospects they have dealt with in a recent role.

Trendrating's products cost anywhere from 15-50K annually. We offer a base salary plus 10% commissions per year on all deals (capped at 3 years) with an annual target of 500K. We offer prospects a 1-month free trial which you would facilitate with Client Services.

Required Skill Set:

- Strong domain knowledge of equity asset management (eg investment process, strategies, risk, performance, factor investing, portfolio management)

- Experience of working with/selling to RIAs, Portfolio Managers, CIOs

- 'Hunter' mentality, high energy, motivated, persistent, resilient

- Mature, self-sufficient, professional

- Strong presentation skills

- Proven track record of closing and generating revenue

- Desire to work for a small, dynamic, entrepreneurial start-up

- CFA preferred
