Operational Risk Manager

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will work directly with a team that is identifying, validating, and enumerating existing and emerging operational risks for risk managers, senior management, and regulators.
• The Operational Risk Manager will work on the Operational Risk Components for the firm which includes: the Key Risk Indicator (KRI) process and reporting, the Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) and reviews, and the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP).

Requirements:

• The Candidate will have an advanced quantitative degree
• The Candidate will have 5+ years of operational risk management experience in financial services with a strong preference for investment management experience
• The candidate must have 2+ years of experience managing operational risk analysts and teams
• The candidate must have proven experience providing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for an investment firm and exposure to risk remediation and analytic skills to implement a corrective action plan for the firm.
• Highly preferred professional designations preferred CFA, FRM, and/or CPA.
• Superior analytical skills, decision-making skills, supervisory skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated capability to apply risk management concepts, analysis, and support to strategic decision-making processes.
• Strong data management and presentations skills (Excel and PowerPoint skills).
