Sr. Principal, Product Management

The role is part of our senior Product Management team which focusses on providing leadership to our Direct Clearing Product Management staff responsible for managing a range of products from development to sales and delivery, supporting the development of departmental priorities to support the achievement of business objectives and ensure alignment with the business line strategy.

Senior Product Managers are considered experts in their field and provide functional insight to complex, business, operational and organizational problems. They oversee strategy design behind product development and delivery, ensure strategies align with departmental priorities and leverage strong market knowledge to integrate the demands of various regions and stay ahead of competitors. All product managers demonstrate in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of our capabilities and an understanding of all products, the marketplace and client needs to drive product growth/development and maximize profitability.

Our Senior Product Managers take an active role in the development and coaching of Product Managers and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed. They lead others on project teams and assists management to operationalize functional or business objectives and thereby contribute to the achievement of functional objectives.

The USD Clearing Commercial Payments Product Lead will define and drive the development and implementation of the product and growth strategy of our Commercial Payments offering to by working with partners across the firm, within our client organizations and across the industry. In this capacity he/she will align closely with the USD Clearing Product Lead and report to the Head of Global Clearing and Asset Account Services Products. He/She will be responsible for the following delivery areas:

• Design of product strategy for Commercial Payments in collaboration with other product line owners within the Clearing portfolio and all adjacent product verticals to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive Treasury Services value proposition.
• Definition and execution of the Commercial Payments product roadmap including front-to-back view of the implementation and operating requirements in Treasury Services and Cash Operations in collaboration with stakeholders across other Treasury Services product areas, operations and technology as well as risk partners.
• Development, implementation and execution of a financially ambitious growth strategy in collaboration with other product verticals and client management organization based on an impactful and comprehensive market engagement strategy
• Definition, implementation and execution of Treasury Services staff training strategy in collaboration with other Product Line owners and other functional areas in Treasury Services

The USD Clearing Commercial Payments Product Lead will also be the primary lead across the entire USD Clearing portfolio facing off to client facing staff in one of our major growth regions.

To deliver on those objectives, the USD Commercial Payments Lead will leverage his/her extensive experience in Product Management in the global Clearing business and track-record of creating and delivering successful product strategies in a high intensity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
• 12 plus years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in Product Management and client management preferred.
• MBA or CFA preferred.
• Product Leadership Certification preferred.
