Team Head - Cross Asset Structured Products (Executive Director)

The main functions of the Head of Cross Asset structured Products are as follows:
• Lead the team of Structured product specialists in Singapore in providing idea generation, advisory and execution for flow and non-flow structured product ideas and solutions across all asset classes to drive revenue growth and increase share of wallet.
• Identify new structured product opportunities and initiatives to monetize the firm's ideas and view on markets in partnership with Advisory teams, PMRO team and Market teams.
• Adopt a data-driven mindset to support development of an efficient and scalable Cross asset structured products franchise
• Lead/be engaged in strategic projects that help reduce friction between the bank and the client, and deliver improvements in the way that we communicate with our clients
• Demonstrate effective collaboration with other sales and research teams within Product Management Group (PMG), and other Bank of Singapore/OCBC departments
• Implement processes and controls to ensure operational effectiveness and minimize risks in relation to advisory activities of DPM and third-party funds offerings
• Facilitate product approval process in partnership with PMG business management.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory policies and procedures.

Main Duties
• Lead the team of Structured product specialists in Singapore in providing idea generation, advisory and execution for flow and non-flow structured product ideas and solutions across all asset classes to drive revenue growth and increase share of wallet.
• Identify new structured product opportunities and initiatives to monetize the firm's ideas and view on markets in partnership with Advisory teams, PMRO team and Market teams
• Deliver financial results as budgeted and assigned for the Cross asset structured products business
• Ensure adequate systems, processes and controls are in place for the efficient and effective origination, execution and distribution of structured products
• Ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Requirements:
• Good, relevant under-graduate degree
• CFA holder &/or Masters degree in Finance from reputable university is strongly preferred
• Strong investments background, with solid knowledge of structured products and derivatives across all main asset classes
• Work experience in an Investment Bank/Private Bank as a team lead
• At least 10 years of Structured products and derivatives experience with proven track record
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Leadership and management expertise
