ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities will be to execute various operational functions pertaining to several private funds, strategies, and separately managed accounts managed by Unimar. These functions include the preparation of daily portfolio reports, trade booking, rebalancing of portfolios, return calculations, and preparing presentations for clients and prospects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Two to four years’ experience in numerically-focused financial services role(s).
• Solid academic record
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel (along with MS Word and MS Powerpoint)
• High level of mathematical literacy and strong attention to numerical detail
• Curiosity and desire to continue learning/working in the Investment Management industry
Familiarity with Investment Management is desired along with a candidate seeking to enroll/enrolled in the CFA Program.
Basic to intermediate familiarity with using a Bloomberg terminal.
Experience with or interest in developing proficiency in VBA, SQL, or Python a plus, with the objective of implementing data management initiatives.
Spanish fluency a plus.
Candidate should feel comfortable working for a small company in a quiet, cerebral office environment
