Our Client:

The Responsibilities:
  • Assist in UAT for IFRS17
  • Prepare Head Office Quarterly Reporting Packages on IFRS17 basis
  • Backup for staff who is preparing Head Office Quarterly Packages on IFRS4 basis
  • Manage DUAL portfolio. This includes reconciliation, processing of payments, addressing of queries and User Acceptance Testing in connection with launch of new products and system migration
  • Reconcile statements received from facultative reinsurers, follow up on reinsurance outstanding debtors and settlement
  • Perform Broker accounts premium settlements
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

The Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Must have Degree in Accounting (Local Uni) and/or CFA/ CPA qualifications

Skills/Knowledge:
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Experience:
  • Working experience in accounting, preferably insurance-related
  • Must have experience in Group Reporting
  • Must have experience in Finance Operations
  • Strong in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Knowledge in IFRS17 and IFRS4
