Role/Department Description:

FactSet is looking to fill the position of Director, Head of Strategic Client Group (SCG) Analytics Specialty Sales. This position will lead a global team of Specialists to further accelerate sales of our Analytics products across the SCG client base. In this role, it is critical to think strategically, and globally, about our solutions and deployments.

The Director, Head of SCG Analytics Specialists will work closely with other regional Specialist leaders and managers to create an industry leading organization of client facing subject-matter-experts with both our on and off-platform Analytics offerings.

This position is accountable for close collaboration with the Head of Sales for SCG, Consulting Leadership, and Professional Services Leadership, in order to accelerate the growth of our business. This individual will also partner with Strategy across all analytics products to ensure effective execution of the deliverables that Strategy and Product Development brings to market specifically for the SCG client base.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a global team of sales specialists. Hire, develop, train, and retain highly effective specialists. Manage specialty resources to maximize ASV potential.
• Grow our Analytics solutions business leading to ASV, client and user expansion.
• Oversee the execution of an effective business plan that maximizes the net deployment of our Analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with Global Account Managers and Local Sales teams to identify, target, and execute on opportunities that maximize ASV outcome.
• Work directly with key clients and participate in strategic sales engagements.
• Represent in enterprise-level client negotiations and contract renewals.
• Represent workflow needs of the SCG client base by aggregating feedback from internal and external constituencies and communicating it to Product Development and Strategy.
• Partner with Strategy leaders to execute and provide feedback on the overall client and products workflow and offerings.
• Establish and oversee the execution of a plan to elevate our analytics solutions knowledge across Sales and Client Solutions.
• Partner with Specialist leaders and managers across teams to increase on and off-platform product knowledge, resulting in a delivery agnostic approach to the specialty sales process.
• Travel frequently to all FactSet Sales offices in the region.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CFA designation or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of leadership experience while delivering exceptional results.
• Proven ability to identify, recruit, cultivate, and retain Product Specialist talent.
• History of effective cross company collaboration (i.e. with other sales teams and partnering with product development)
• History of proactively identifying business inefficiencies and taking ownership to deliver solutions.
• Exceptional understanding of how client workflows, both on and off platform, meet their investment needs.
• Detail oriented while maintaining vision for the big picture.
• Ability to make challenging decisions in a changing/complex environment.
