The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
  • Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy
Business
  • Provide advisory services to corporate and Financial Institution clientele in achieving their maiden international ratings, and/ or assisting existing issuers in their ongoing dialogue with the rating agencies - for Standard Chartered clients across our footprint countries
  • Work on excel linked financial models, power point presentations etc. in making a compelling case for a credit story
  • Advise on rating related matters, such as rating methodologies and processes.
  • Provide indicative ratings on prospective issuers
  • Undertaking debt sizing analysis in order to advise clients on capital structuring
Risk Management
  • Manage and improve the Risk and Compliance environment ensuring the highest standards of risk management consistent with both internal and regulatory policies
  • Comply with all policies and procedures
  • To be fully aware of all the policies and procedures issued in relation to Compliance Risk monitoring and Money Laundering Prevention. Ensure compliance with these policies and procedures on an on-going basis. Any suspicious transactions must be reported immediately to the line manager or the Business Money Laundering Prevention Officer / Country Money Laundering Prevention Officer.
Our Ideal Candidate

  • CFA/CPA qualification preferred, but not a must
  • Excellent command of w ritten and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Excellent p owerpoint and financial modelling skills
  • Strong c redit analytical skills
  • Experience with credit rating agencies preferred, but not a must
  • Familiarity with rating agency methodologies preferred, but not a must
  • Less experienced candidates will be considered as Associate level
