About The Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated accounting specialist to support the Statutory and General ledger teams. This position is integral to building a world-class organisation to support our growing and complex global business. This role requires a highly skilled and ambitious professional who can support various areas within the Finance team.

What You'll Do

• Participate in Statutory Accounts preparation
• Participate in the interim and annual audits for the Company
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial reports and GL postings
• Prepares various account reconciliations, schedules, exhibits and summaries to support the general ledger balances
• Prepares supporting schedules and working papers for the annual Statutory Audit
• Prepares reconciliations between US GAAP and Local GAAP
• Provides support to all areas of the Accounting Department as needed]Performs other analysis and special projects as assigned

Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Mix of Statutory Accounts preparation and audit experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet established time lines
• Experience working with NetSuite
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Degree in Accounting
• Demonstrated effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organisation
• Creative problem solving skills coupled with good judgment
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and comfortable using
• Google Workspace
• Very high attention to detail; organised and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement.
• Stellar work ethic.
