Our client is an independent organisation offering concessional loans, debt and equity funding in real estate and infrastructure, managing over $1 billion in investments. Joining the team, you will have exposure to a broad range of real estate and project finance related transactions, working in a lean team and directly supporting the Head of Credit to create a lasting impact to local communities throughout Australia.

This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit risk professional, providing critical analytical support for key business partners, including the originations team, legal counsel, and credit committee to ensure the efficient approval and documentation of broad range of real estate finance transactions. You will be actively involvement in complex deals from an end to end process and play a key role in driving superior outcomes.

Candidates will ideally have 10+ years of experience in a banking/financing role, predominantly in the real estate and/or construction related financing space. The successful candidate will have excellent credit risk management skills, ideally with experience underwriting loan transactions in property and strong financial modelling and forecasting capabilities. You will also have strong relationship and client engagement skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A tertiary qualification in Commerce (or similar) and a strong academic background (CA/CFA desirable).
