Who we are looking for
Financial Analyst with Investment Compliance profile or ambitions; an SME in Lawcard area with focus on regulatory rules advisory; excellent communication and language skills (Eng is a must, Ger will be a strong asset, other EU language as a plus); ability to own and deliver not only in BAU but also in additional projects; client facing experience would be a plus as well; strong team player; MIG and / or CRIMS knowledge would be a plus.

What you will be responsible for
As Financial Analyst you will be responsible for
  • Research and analysis of local and global regulations within the Funds industry (e.g. UCITS, AFIMD, 1940 act) as well as technical requests from our client Producing new LawCards or update existing LawCards (Rulewriting, Testing, Documentation in the LawCard Portal) - responsibility for LawCardTM as State Street product
  • Establishing and test system-based rules to review investor compliance
  • Consulting for implementation of new asset classes, attributes, compliance rules etc
  • Supporting, Bugfixing, Customer Hotline
  • Concepts (Liquidity Risk Monitoring, Net Short Position, CDS and or any new topic related to monitoring of investments by fund managers) Events / Presentations (Visiting external events, Prepare and execute LawCard
  • Events organized for clients)
  • Assisting Professional Service Team & Lead or support of various projects Visiting Customers personally, Sales and presales activities as per need
  • Maintaining contact to regulators and industry associations (e.g. ESMA, FCA, SEC, EFAMA)

  • Good understanding of different financial instruments and mechanisms driving fund industry
  • Analytical mind, allowing candidate to understand existing and new regulations (ie. UCITS) and translate it into system language
  • Accuracy and ability to work with deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize, pay attention to details and understand customer requirements
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional contacts and relationships within the company

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Investment Compliance would be a plus
  • Ability to work independent and take responsibility for assigned items
  • Fluency in English required, German or French knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus
  • CFA Certification, FRM Financial Risk Manager or CRM Certified Risk Manager certification would be a strong asset
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and database applications
