Position Description:

Over the past 2+ years, PIMCO has undergone significant change when it comes to digital readiness. As part of a global digital transformation initiative spearheaded by Technology and Marketing, we have set the stage to enable personalized client experiences at scale through Growth Marketing programs.

As a Growth Marketing Analyst on the US Client Marketing team, you will:
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end email campaign execution - including content reviews, data preparation, email builds, and reporting
  • Partner closely with marketing analytics, marketing automation, and technology teams to execute and improve processes over time
  • Develop a deep understanding of our data analytics and marketing technology
  • Be hands-on in developing and evolving our marketing automation campaigns and data hygiene efforts

  • Serve as lead for growth marketing, including technical email execution, data prep, program build via Marketo, measurement, post-campaign analysis etc.
  • Support Growth Marketing in our development of an advanced sales enablement platform, providing feedback on UI, working closely with the tech team, and uploading campaigns to the platform
  • Own marketing data preparation process to ready audience targeting/lists for email and other targeted campaigns in close partnership with data analytics team
  • Partner with marketing automation team to learn best practices, evolve campaign strategy, and then support email builds in Marketo
  • Be an active participant in a cross-team QA process to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Contribute to process automation and improvement in partnership with marketing automation, data analytics and technology teams
  • Identify potential roadblocks to execution schedules, resources, etc. and propose solutions with trade-off considerations to the leadership team
  • Become a student of our data universe, looking for meaningful ways to influence segmentation and personalization approaches as well as campaign optimization and evolution over time
  • Champion thoughtful A/B and multivariate tests that prove out hypotheses and drive business results
  • Study and share growth marketing best practices to inform campaign design and educate partners

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+years of experience with digital and/or email marketing campaigns, including campaign ideation, design, build, QA and measurement
  • Hands-on experience building and executing email and other growth marketing strategies (in Marketo a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, Marketing Automation and Data Visualization tools (Marketo and Power BI a plus)
  • Experience or familiarity with the Financial Services industry - experience working alongside or for the benefit of financial advisors a plus
  • Familiar with data science approaches and models (e.g., comfortable with data)
  • Ability to analyze data, teasing out actionable insights and opportunities
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced environment and within a complex, global organization
  • Track record of pursuing excellence while building strong professional relationships

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience, including a proven ability to work under deadlines and manage multi-faceted initiatives
  • Familiar with CRM systems and how client-facing teams handle lead generation and client engagement
