Trading Associate (Crypto)

A pre-eminent name in the Cryptoverse is seeking to hire a talented Associate level Trader to join their New York-based principal trading desk.

Responsibilities:
-Manage the pricing and risk management of a portfolio of liquid / illiquid crypto investments;
-Identify opportunities and execute the approriate trading strategies;
-Proactively generate and communicate trading ideas;
-Assist in the optimization and ongoing build-out of the firm's risk and trading platform in collaboration with the technology team;
-Communicate with the firm's globally distributed team of researchers, risk managers, quants and traders.

Qualifications:
-2-4 years' experience managing a trading book at a bank, fund or market making firm;
-Cross-asset derivatives experience strongly preferred, options experience required;
-Passionate about blockchain, crypto, digital assets, markets, trading and technology. To note, while Crypto experience is a plus it is not required;
-Strong programming skills (ie: C++, KDB, Python, R, VBA) strongly preferred;
-Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, science or technical discipline;
-Professional designation, ie: CFA, preferred;
-Ability to think on your feet and own your decision-making;
-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
-Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to rapidly synthesize data.
