We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our rapidly growing team in our pursuit of the vision to empower Christians around the world to invest for the glory of God by creating high quality investment portfolios that support biblical values. Inspire manages over $1.6B in assets under management, is Inc. 5000 listed as one of the fastest growing companies in the nation, and is the world's largest provider of faith-based ETFs. Inspire currently manages eight ETFs and several dozen separately managed account strategies, as well as provides subadvisory and TAMP services to third party firms, all according to biblically responsible investing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Inspire ETFs and separately managed account models
  • Ensuring quality standards in categories such as tracking error, spreads, best execution, premium/discount, performance relative to benchmarks and other metrics
  • Keeping SMA models and ETF strategies up to date on various internal and third-party platforms and custodians
  • Trading and rebalancing client accounts and investment models
  • Reviewing reports and blotters for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensuring portfolios meet Inspire’s biblically responsible investing standards with positive Inspire Impact Scores
  • Managing corporate actions and proxy voting
  • Compile research and write commentary for Inspire investment strategies for distribution to clients and advisors
  • Appear from time to time on presentations and/or sales calls with advisors and clients as an expert on the portfolio strategy and design
  • Answering basic questions from clients, advisors, and the public about the organization’s faith and religious foundations including scriptural citations for such answers.
  • Ministering to the spiritual needs of those employees and clients in their sphere of influence.
  • Advancement of Inspire’s mission to inspire transformation throughout the world for God’s glory

Required Skills/Experience

For consideration, candidates will need a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of five (5) years’ related experience in portfolio management, in addition to the following:

  • CFA designation (strongly preferred)
  • Proficient in financial analysis and related technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve complicated problems with simple solutions
  • Precise and accurate attention to detail
  • Efficient worker able to perform with short deadlines and time-sensitive tasks
  • Robust understanding of financial markets and the ETF industry in particular
  • Passionate about Inspire's mission to inspire transformation for God's glory with biblically responsible investing excellence and innovation

Nice to Have/Bonus

  • Proficiency with Bloomberg
  • Experience in ETF portfolio management
  • Experience with Orion technology
  • Technical analysis proficiency
