Position Description:

We are seeking a talented Marketing Manager experienced in developing and implementing data-driven marketing strategies, with a keen interest in helping to evolve our rapidly growing Model Portfolios business. In this key role, and as part of the Strategic Initiatives Client Marketing team, you will lead the strategic development of multi-year marketing programs and audience activation efforts for our Models business across the US wealth management segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop evergreen, multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness and adoption of PIMCO's Models platform (e.g., products and capabilities)
  • Identify innovative ways to promote key products that may vary over time in support of US GWM sales growth goals and strategy
  • Develop targeted campaigns designed to engage and more swiftly transition advisors to sales-qualified leads
  • Activate and collaborate with the broader marketing team (e.g., product marketing, digital, events, advertising, design, etc.) to effectively execute developed plans and campaigns
  • Maintain a "test and experiment" approach - continuously analyzing campaign performance data, sharing meaningful sales and marketing insights, and incorporating findings into the next campaign iteration
  • Manage a project pipeline, with project prioritization to be continuously refined in response to real-time market conditions, events, and changing business needs
  • Ensure accuracy of quarterly updates to marketing collateral materials and keep the US GWM sales team aware of available marketing resources


Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial services marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Model Portfolio investments, including in-depth knowledge of the target market's investment needs, concerns, and decision-making process
  • Demonstrated knowledge of RIA and advisor customer base required
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheets) and content management systems (e.g., Seismic)
  • Experience with Agile marketing desirable
