Associate Director / Senior Associate - Product Specialist (Managed Investments, Private Markets & A

Main Duties

• Monitor market trends and identify appropriate investment strategies, with a focus on China-centric strategies and HK SFC authorized funds
• Conduct analysis on mutual funds, hedge funds and alternative investment products for onboarding to the Bank's approved List
• Monitor developments and conduct periodic reviews on Funds in the Bank's approved list
• Develop recommendations on Funds in the Bank's approved list
• Ensure adherence to internal policies with respect to funds onboarding
• Develop and maintain fund-related materials such as monthly fund updates
• Provide product training and respond to queries from front office on fund-related matters
• Participate in client meetings when necessary
• To lead or participate in projects related to funds

Qualifications and Requirements

• Well recognized university degree, preferably with a CFA or other relevant post graduate qualifications
• At least 5-8 years of relevant Managed Investments and Alternative Investment sales experience, of which at least 2-4 years obtained in the Hong Kong Private Banking industry is preferred
• Expertise in Managed Investments and Alternative investments including ability to understand fundamental and technical factors affecting the products
• Prior experience working with relationship managers and high net worth trading clients is an advantage
• Strong understanding of local regulations related to the Hong Kong Managed Investment and Alternative Investments business
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess high conduct credentials, ethics, honesty and integrity which align with the Bank's desired culture, values and behaviors
