Position Description:
We are seeking a talented, digital-first financial writer to create simple, compelling content that engages our target audience/s and draws them through the funnel. As part of PIMCO's marketing editorial team, you will apply your storytelling skills and digital proficiency to turn sophisticated insights and strategies into accessible, actionable, and digestible content for various marketing deliverables. This includes web copy, emails, and video scripts-and a range of audiences emphasizing end investor accessibility. In addition, you will work closely with marketing managers, sales, digital teams, designers, and project stakeholders across our global organization, consistently demonstrating our core values of collaboration, openness, responsibility, and excellence. This position may be located in either our Austin, TX, or Newport Beach, CA office.

- Write and edit compelling content across a variety of media that drives digital engagement
- Contribute ideas to help make content relevant, accessible, and measurable
- Embrace and promote digital best practices
- Collaborate effectively with marketing colleagues and key business partners
- Adhere to established style guides and brand standards
- Proofread and edit copy from draft through the release
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism or related field
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the financial services industry (preferably focusing on investment management), writing for B2B and B2C audiences
- Ability to translate complex content into accessible, engaging, and digestible content
- A consistent record of producing content that increases engagement and drives leads
- Adept at digital marketing, including SEO, email marketing, social media, personalization, etc.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities with a dedication to quality and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the Adobe platform
