CLO Business Leader

A global, NYC based institutional investment management firm with over $11 billion under management, a 25 year record of strong performance and a first class institutional client base is launching a CLO business.  The firm currently focuses on global credit strategies with an emphasis on convertible debt, high yield and hedged strategies and possesses a high quality institutional platform to support the current strategies and clients.

The firm seeks to hire a senior investment professional and business leader to lead this new effort and to help build a highly successful business and dedicated team. The candidate must have a minimum of 15 years work experience, including at least 5 years in a CLO portfolio management role.

Candidate must demonstrate excellent portfolio management, loan selection and analytical skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. In partnership with the CIO/Founder, members of the Management Committee and other senior members of the investment team the successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the new business to include but not be limited to portfolio management/construction and the broad direction/growth of the business. 

The successful candidate must have an excellent investment record as a CLO manager and an entrepreneurial passion to lead and build a highly successful business.  The individual must be a strong leader, excellent communicator, team player with a hands-on “can-do” attitude and an ability to excel in a fast paced entrepreneurial, performance driven culture.
