USWA is one of BlackRock's major growth engines, and is a highly dynamic, team-oriented, fast-paced and complex organization.

This new developed strategist role is dedicated to supporting field sales with respect to a range of custom option overlay strategies and services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the go-to expert for USWA sales teams on option overlay capabilities - providing a white-glove relationship through superior investment consulting with investment professionals at advisory firms and Home Offices.
  • You will ensure we are best representing Option overlay capabilities, with compelling materials and timely responses to requests. The investment philosophy, process, and performance of specific investment products will have to be clearly articulated, as well as market views and historical trends in derivatives
  • Build strong relationships with sales / distribution partners. Must approach the role as a business owner and be accountable for territory rotation and maintaining a full calendar of events and meetings.
  • Play key role in the rollout of new product development and platform launches for option overlay capabilities from training, marketing messaging and activation in the field
  • Work collaboratively and coordinate with partners within BlackRock and third parties to meet project deadlines and goals
  • Support USWA initiatives to continue to enhance our Wealth Outsourcing platform - partner with sales to socialize best practices across geographies and channels.

Key Skills:
  • Flexible, responsive and self-starting personality. Demonstrated experience working both independently and as part of a team in a highly collaborative, complex environment
  • A genuine inclination for quantitative analysis and the ability to work through complex problems and challenges to provide innovative insights
  • Experience with retail financial advisor industry and advisor model portfolios a strong plus
  • Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills including ability to manage projects independently
  • Knowledge of ETFs, mutual funds, and separate accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with demonstrated analytical ability
  • Effective public speaking and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Eagerness to learn and understand all aspects of SMA and model portfolio business

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant asset management industry experience with some Managed Account (SMA) experience preferred
