Position Description:

PIMCO is seeking an Inclusion & Diversity ("ID") Program Manager to advance diversity and inclusion within our workplace. Inclusion and diversity is a firm-wide strategic priority and we believe in a diverse workforce, where all employees can bring their authentic selves to work and know that they belong and are valued. The primary responsibility of the role is to drive the implementation of HR programs, policies and strategies to foster greater inclusion, representation across businesses globally, building on current efforts to enable the firm to continue to attract, develop, retain and engage top talent.

We are seeking a veteran ID practitioner who will champion, promote, and lead efforts across global offices. This individual will report to Head of Inclusion & Diversity. She/he will ensure we develop a road-map that increases PIMCO's representation, foster a culture of inclusion and awareness, and drive fairness in all that we do.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage Inclusion & Diversity project and program execution directly and in partnership with others
  • Execute ID actions across a range of programs in partnership with HR colleagues globally
  • Provide flexible approaches that meet team needs, including the ability to move fast and make progress or navigate blocks quickly
  • Own the day-to-day operations of the firm's ID programs and activities, prioritizing action items and initiatives daily
  • Coordinate, track and report on ID team activities
  • Collect both quantitative and qualitative feedback to measure impact and optimize future efforts
  • Collaborate with the talent acquisition team, business heads, and hiring managers to attract and hire a diverse workforce
  • Collaborate with talent development teams to integrate ID concepts into learning curriculums, performance management, manager and leadership development
  • Provide clear measurement of progress and encourage contribution to ID actions by people across the organization
  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights and gaps to inform strategy as well as relevant programming
  • Partner with business leaders, managers, and HR colleagues to embed ID best practices into business practices
  • Successfully collaborate with colleagues globally to support regional, local, and remote employees' needs, issues, and initiatives
  • Develop, own and manage ID industry relationships to further enhance Achievements product offerings and industry impact
  • Maintain current industry knowledge to remain up to date on current best practices impacting ID


Position Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS
  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager and track record of success delivering ID programs and initiatives from design through implementation
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience with establishing programs, supporting cross-functional teams, and developing relationships across multiple offices
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience influencing, developing, and empowering employees across multiple geographies
  • Experience facilitating or communicating to audiences
  • Experience communicating with data to drive change
  • Experience leading projects or programs from end-to-end
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment as well as collaboratively across several business teams
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into strategy and action plans
  • Passionate about diversity, inclusion, and addressing the impact of external social events in the workplace
  • Demonstrated experience with relationship management and successfully partnering with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience delivering projects for large, global, cross-functional audiences
  • Broad and global knowledge of diversity and inclusion processes, procedures, best practices, resources and networks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to include written, oral, listening, and presentation, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a diverse environment
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads
  • Result driven, demonstrated ownership and accountability
  • Able to travel (domestic and/or international) dependent on business and client needs - approx. 25%
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Master's degree or MBA highly desirable.
