Our client is a leading independent global asset manager. Based in Frankfurt, the Sales Manager will continue the group's expansion into the Austrian market.

The role will focus on the distribution of the wide mutual fund range. It requires a person with in-depth-knowledge of the financial markets and an understanding of the competitive landscape in asset management. Pronounced, easy and good relationship qualities and responsibility for the existing and prospective customers assigned are also a must.

We are looking for job starters or candidates with first business experience in Asset Management of up to 3-4 years. The ideal candidate should have the following skills, qualifications and competencies:

Candidate Profile
  • A Business School or Master's Degree Graduate, CFA or related courses are a plus
  • Thorough understanding of financial markets
  • Open-minded and first-rate listening skills
  • Supports customers by providing them with creative and innovative solutions
  • Able to develop long-term relationship with clients and prospects and manage to continuously adapt their priorities, reacting to the market and business needs
  • Entrepreneurial-minded
  • Fluent in German and English

In addition to putting clients first, acting like an owner, and succeeding as a team, the competencies for this role include:
  • Strong team player
  • Sound understanding of the complexities of the sales process, with a passion for building the brand internationally
  • Professionalism, energy and the ability to prioritize time, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to present ideas to a broad audience
  • Ability to interface credibly with individuals at all levels of seniority, both externally and internally
  • Resourceful, and at times able to work with little support
  • Transparent, clear and honest, and focused on client service
  • Approachable, able to listen and know how to transfer technical skills through good communication
