Fantastic opportunity to work as part of a team to deliver investment control and treasury functions.A leading Australian insurance group with over $30bn and 1 million customers. This role will give you the opportunity to work as part of a team to deliver investment control and treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Review and validation of unit prices and cashflows on a daily basis including unit pricing standing data reviews i.e. fees, spreads, and indices.
  • Co-ordinate with tax specialists to ensure accuracy of tax included in unit prices
  • Identify, analyse and escalate anomalies, errors, issues and risks.
  • Monitor liquidity and FX exposures of corporate entities
  • Monitor liquidity of the life company
  • Assist in the execution of capital and funding transactions
  • Prepare materials to present to internal committees, current and prospective debt investors and ratings agencies
Key competencies required
  • Sound knowledge of investments, FX and capital market concepts
  • Analytical skills, ability to assess reasonableness of output
  • Ability to work in at team and build relationships
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Ideal experience
  • University degree in Commerce or a closely related field
  • 2 years' experience in treasury, accounting or finance function
  • Relevant accounting or Finance qualification (CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent). Partially qualified would be acceptable.
