The Role:

The Socially Responsible Investment Analyst will sit within the SRI team of this Asset Management firm, working in the London office and closely with the Head of Socially Responsible Investing & The Head of Investments.

The Socially Responsible Investment Analyst will develop, implement and maintain strong socially responsible investment policies and processes, and ensuring alignment of core principles of responsible investments including ESG issues, climate change and corporate social responsibility.

Regularly monitor Socially Responsible Investing throughout the Asset Management business, collaborating with front office Fund Managers to ensure that their Investment process is aligned with SRI and ESG.

Creation of specific SRI communication materials - writing informative content for internal communications, and also contributing towards the ESG newsletter, also providing support to the Sales and Marketing effort through presentations, meetings, conferences.

The role may involve speaking with Senior individuals at the companies in which the Asset Management firm are investing in - asking the right questions to understand non-financial analysis methodologies for listed and non-listed companies, countries and supranational organisations. The role will also involve contribution to the Investment selection process, championing SRI themes.

The Socially Responsible Investment Analyst may also have client facing responsibilities, inputting SRI into the top down meetings and ESG framework.

Responsible for monitoring of financial regulations and information on responsible investment, and update any relevant updates or changes throughout the Asset Management firm.

Attending events relation to Socially Responsible Investing and ESG.

The Candidate

Minimum 3+ years' experience within Asset Management / Investment Management, with a demonstrable interest in ESG , Socially Responsible Investing and an understanding of how to implement this across the business.

Educated to degree level.

CFA - ESG qualification (or working towards)

Strong writing skills - essential

Confident to present to colleague and clients on ESG / SRI themes.

Conversation French would be a plus!
