Chinese Equity (A+H) Fund Manager

OFI Asset Management is one of the leading France-based fund management companies with more than 70bn€ of assets under management. OFI AM has experience in investing in Chinese Equities for more than ten years (OFI obtained QFII license back in 2010.)

We are looking for a Chinese Equity (A + H) Fund Manager to join our newly created Hong Kong office. He or she will work in a team of 4 fund managers supported by 6 analysts, all based in Hong Kong, investing in emerging market assets (currently 500mUS$ in total, out of which 150mUS$ of Chinese Equities).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Place of work: Hong Kong
• Start of duty: as soon as possible
• Report to the head of portfolio management
• Manage Chinese equity funds (A shares, H shares and Chinese ADRs)
• Investment style: active portfolio management approach based on fundamental analysis
• Scope of investment could further be expanded to other emerging markets
• Close communication with internal analysts and external sell-side analysts
• Contribute to whole emerging market fund management teams' investment strategies
• Maintain Broker Dealer relationships to ensure proper coverage and best execution
• Regular update/communication with funds' clients and prospects, mainly based in Europe
• Short-term training planned in headquarter in Europe if COVID international travel situation allows

Experience and Education

• 3 - 5 years of experience in sell-side or buy-side on Chinese equities (A + H)
• Bachelor's Degree required; CFA certification a plus
• Fluency in English a must; Chinese language (mandarin or Cantonese) a must
• Hong Kong work permit a plus
