The Primonial Group is recruiting for one of its main subsidiaries: La Financière de l'Echiquier.

With more than 12 billion euros in assets under management, La Financière de l'Echiquier (LFDE) is one of the leading independent asset management boutiques in France.

Established in 1991, LFDE manages savings and financial investments on behalf of private clients, wealth management advisors, distribution and institutional clients.

LFDE is present in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Switzerland and markets funds and investment solutions in many other countries.

Integrated into the Investment Management team, you work in collaboration with a Fund manager and 2 analysts on international thematic equity funds, which currently represent circa €1.3 billion in assets under management.

As such, you collect and analyze data about listed companies and their market, with a multi-sector and multi-thematic approach with a bias on innovative companies. You produce studies, investment cases and carry out your own valuation models.

In close collaboration with the Fund Manager, you are able to propose investment decisions.

Without this list being exhaustive, you perform all or part of the following missions :

- Carry out financial modeling and valuation techniques;

- Financial analysis: production of investment decision support studies :
  • Write investment cases and create a financial model for a given company, a strategic analysis, activity and income forecasts . Monitoring of companies in the investment universe: newsflow, publication, investors days ...
  • Generate investment ideas for the team;
  • Make recommendations on securities in the portfolio or likely to enter the funds; be a force of conviction and argue to facilitate the act of management and to monitor these ideas over time;
  • Meet the managers of the companies studied and those whose stocks we select, on a regular basis to maintain knowledge and our convictions on the quality of management and strategy;
  • Collect financial and economic data on the companies studied. Track quarterly releases, update models, and comment on each release.

- Transversal missions :
  • Draft extra-financial analyzes in order to maintain 100% ESG integration of the securities in the portfolio, as part of LFDE's commitment (ESG with a bias mainly on governance but which may also cover the Environment and Social pillars) ;
  • Maintain the proprietary "Phoenix" database (library of our investment cases tracking all of our meetings with companies and their reports);
  • Participate in client meetings to present the funds or to review fund news for clients already invested in the team's strategies.

- Support to the fund management team:
  • Middle-office, intermediation and IT link;
  • Update of fund dashboards;
  • Update data for fund marketing materials;
  • Fund reporting;
  • Ad-hoc requests;
  • Vote at the General Meetings of the companies in the portfolio.


PROFILE

With a higher education type BAC + 5, you will ideally benefit from 8 to 12 years of professional experience, mainly in International Growth Equity strategies and / or Thematic strategies. You have built your experience mainly internationally.

You have the CFA designation are in the process of obtaining it, or are committed to obtaining it.
