About this role

Role Description

This person will be a key member of the iShares Markets Coverage team within EII Americas. The position is for an ETF specialist with a specific focus on wealth clients. The Markets Coverage group is responsible for rapidly growing ETF usage by developing ETF execution solutions for iShares clients across the US, Canada, and Latin America. This team member should have outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a broad range of clients as well as internal partners. Understanding the nuances of trading ETFs, spanning all asset classes. In addition, be accountable for comparing trade and holding costs of ETFs to other investment vehicles. This role requires comfort in collaborating with internal working groups, sales and senior management to proliferate usage of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Be an ETF trading subject matter expert and demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to promote ETF usage and differentiate iShares from competitor funds.
  • Help to develop a coverage strategy for USWA client base and identify opportunities to expand Markets Coverage service offerings
  • Assist clients across various channels (institutional and retail) in achieving the best execution when trading iShares by educating them on ETF liquidity and optimally communicating specific trading strategies and the associated costs
  • Partner closely with sales, traveling to client meetings as vital, to provide product specialist support with a focus on trading
  • Write ETF focused market insight pieces and trading research for both internal and external audiences. Collect, analyze and extract meaning from ETF trading data in an effort to produce relevant content and drive inflow
  • Contribute to the improvement of propriety ETF pre-trade analytics
Skills and Qualifications
  • BA / BS in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar field
  • CFA, CIMA, CFP or coding background a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bloomberg
  • Series 7, 63 required
  • 2+ years of direct experience with ETFs (knowledge of Fixed Income is a plus)
  • Skillful in working with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg
  • Able to multi-task and work optimally at various levels of an organization
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Able to take initiative and ownership of deliverables
  • Experience working on strategic project teams
  • Writing and editorial skills combined with interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resourceful, proactive and able to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
