Bank of Singapore offers private markets and alternative investment opportunities to clients. This offering requires sourcing, due-diligence, execution, marketing and client-servicing of private markets funds, hedge funds, as well as co-investment transactions. As a member of the Private Markets & Alternatives team, the candidate will work closely with team members to facilitate the end-to-end onboarding and management process of pipeline and existing private market funds, hedge funds and co-investment transactions.
  • To source, review and conduct due diligence on global private market funds, hedge funds and co-investment opportunities for the purpose of offering to high net worth clients.
  • To manage the product approval process with investment committee as well as internal and external legal and compliance, including the design, implementation and management of investment vehicles/structures.
  • To monitor and analyse the development of existing private market funds and hedge funds and manage the performance reporting and regulatory reporting (if any) for BOS's private market and hedge fund products.
  • To be able to outline and articulate specific key selling drivers to help in the commercialization of product ideas, and to work with front office staff to raise assets.
  • To assist in bank-wide education and training of alternative investments to front office staff.

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably with prior experience in alternative investments such as private markets and hedge funds.
  • Self-initiated and fast learner.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with strong project & task management skills to manage multiple projects at any one time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Good, relevant undergraduate degree (business, finance, law).
  • CFA/CAIA holder and/or Master's degree in finance or business administration from reputable university will be an advantage.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred as the role will require liaison with Chinese counterpart
