  • The postion of Manager Financial Manager GBS is supporting the Director of Financial Management GBS in its task
    • to provide correct and complete information to the GBS Management to make informed decisions as well as
    • by continuous improvements and adjustments in the defined standard framework to reflect the development of the GBS organisation and to improve efficiency
  • The position is a backbone of the Director of Financial Management in regard to the financial aspects of adidas GBS.

Key Responsibilities

  • GBS Operational Controlling
    • Manage the set-up of the GBS Management Reporting
    • Ensure timely & accurate (completeness and correctness) monthly, quarterly and year-end closing on GBS reporting according to Group policies and prepare monthly financial reporting to the GBS Management team and different stakeholders
    • Act as business partner to the centers and and provide regular analysis to GBS Management team
    • Support in the preparation of GBS FC /Budget /Target Shifts, based on internal alignments
    • Masterdata Management – ensure that the Reporting units, Cost centers, Internal Orders, and other related in the system are complete and correct
  • GBS Project Controlling
    • Business Case Governance
      • Updates based on the defined reporting schedule and support the preparation of the reporting packages to different stakeholders
      • Support the preparation of the documents to steer the approval process
      • Develop new Business Case models/framework
      • Prepare the Business Cases for new (transition) scope identified and support the preparation of the documents to steer the approval process and the preparation of the reporting packages to the different stakeholders
      • Perform Post mortem analysis
    • Transitions
      • Contact Partner for the Transition Manager and PMO, set-up and support from financial perspective
      • Roadmap financial impacts assessment and communication to the affected parties
    • Demand Management – ensure the appropriate support from financial perspective in GBS
  • Project work based on 90-day-plans defined each quarter, implement results and ensure sustainability of achievements
  • Ad-hoc analysis and any related to financial management and impacts in GBS

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Adminstration or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Broad & deep knowledge in own functional area, combining theoretical and practical knowledge
  • Experience in a multi-national working environment
  • Broad & deep knowledge of company policies and practices
  • Microsoft Software
