The credit fund is keen to have one Analyst with 1-3 years' experience in investment banking, restructuring, private credit or commercial banking. Direct restructuring experience and participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts® (CFA) program are desirable but not required.

The CPW team are a dedicated restructuring team, managing over $1.0bn in assets that were originally underwritten by regional deal teams, but are now experiencing financial stress. The team works closely with borrowers, other lenders, and external advisors to maximize economic recoveries and support companies as they work through existing challenges. The team also underwrites protective investments if required, opportunistically purchases distressed securities in the secondary market, and provides consultation services to the regional offices.

With a global presence, the London team's portfolio covers UK and European assets but works directly with the US based teams. As the underwriting side is industry agnostic, you will get exposure to a broad array of businesses and situations, from FTSE250 companies, to private family owned enterprises and mezzanine debt investments. As part of a niche team in London, your input and responsibilities will be meaningful from day one.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of credit experience and an understanding of how a deal process works.
  • Good commercial accumen
  • Top notch technical skills
  • Willingness to get work done and dive into details.
