Director of Investment Communications

As Director of Investment Communications, you are viewed as one of the key voices, educators, and translators of the investment platform and solutions to multiple audiences. You are also a member of the Investment Committee (“IC”) working hand and glove with the Investment Team.

Your investment acumen and professional communication abilities are respected inside and outside the Firm.

You will be responsible to apply your knowledge, skills, and abilities across various ownership areas including Wealth Advisor practice development, client/prospect communications, learning programs, and external engagements including seminars and panel sessions.

Key focus areas:

▪ Ability to act as educator to the Firm; work as a liaison between IC and the rest of Firm to fill all knowledge gaps

▪ Active involvement in client meetings as well as managing client relationships and client engagement

▪ Ability to help create, design, and develop and present investment content for clients including marketing materials, webinars, and thought leadership areas

▪ Academic and practitioner knowledge of capital market theory, asset allocation/location, and public asset classes

▪ Well-developed understanding and can speak knowledgeably about alternative investments

▪ Fluent and comfortable speaking to the more technical aspects of the investment process including portfolio optimization and risk management

▪ Well-developed understanding of financial planning concepts

▪ Act as eyes and ears to “what’s out there” in the marketplace to ensure the Firm’s solutions are staying ahead of the curve

▪ Help to support and inform IC meetings and agenda

▪ Participate in Financial Planning Committee meetings ▪ Increase engagement and participation with relevant trade associations



Deep investment communications and practice development experience ideally within asset and wealth management with 7- to 10- years of client/prospect facing experience. Well-developed know-how and understanding of the full spectrum of public and private market investment instruments with a ability to translate complicated investment concepts to a wide set of constituencies.

A strong academic background, investment related credentials e.g. CFA, and strong investment practitioner experience as a PM and or Portfolio Strategist viewed as a major plus. A great team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and think critically. Focused on personal/professional development.
