GENERAL SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for ENA’s financial analysis and modeling though the proactive and timely execution of financial statistics, modeling and forecasting. This position will also prepare annual budgets and assist with external reporting needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Analyzes sales data and metrics monthly for all ENA products and services to determine predictive results for projections and budgets.
  2. Assists the Director of Finance in developing short/long term financial & business plans via projection and budget process to ensure short term goals are met and long-range financial projections have paths for success, which includes key business analysis that support projections and budgets.
  3. Completes all financial analysis needs and assists the Director of Finance in preparing finance materials for the Senior Leadership Team, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors.
  4. Collaborates with the Director of Finance, Business Development, Education, and Market Research teams to develop financial modeling for existing and new products/services. Supports the new product development process (NPD) in product/service financials, which includes financial and business analysis to determine ROI, Pricing, Incremental volume, etc.
  5. Conducts monthly meetings with budget owners to review financials, ensure departmental budget understanding, support current and future years’ financial projections and make adjustments and changes as needed to fit short and long term goals.
  6. Serves as the system administrator for ENA’s budget system, leading all departmental and organizational initiatives of the which includes version setups, web reports, dashboards and Excel based reporting via Office Connect.
  7. Contributes to the workplace culture that is consistent with the association’s culture statement and emphasizes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  8. Displays a high level of accountability, taking responsibility for individual actions and the impact on the organization. Views oneself as a reflection of the organization by following through on commitments and accepting ownership.
  9. Performs additional related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum four years of related experience. 
  • Knowledge of computer based financial and budgeting software.
  • Previous experience as a Business Operations Finance Analyst.

  • Experience with Salesforce and Adaptive Insights

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment.  Requires ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an exchange of information; collect, compile and prepare work documents; set-up and maintain work files, participate in meetings. Use of the computer, with repetitive motion, is approximately 95%.

WORKING CONDITIONS 

Majority of work is performed in a general office environment.
