What we are looking for
The Front to Back Solution Architect is responsible for working with client's and internal teams in the planning, execution and reporting of implementation of Front Office solutions. The ideal candidate must have a B.S. in finance, economics or engineering (MBA/CFA preferred), as well as an understanding of global portfolio management, trading and compliance of equities, fixed-income and derivative instruments, as well as the associated analytics.

The Alpha Strategy and Business Development team is looking for qualified individuals with strong experience in strategic project management to help drive the execution of the Alpha Services Transformation. The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail orientated, have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to move seamlessly between multiple projects and changing program requirements.

What you are responsible for

• Front Office skills required include a strong understanding of CRIMS and advanced proficiency in at least one of the following areas: Compliance, Equity, Fixed Income, Investment Solutions, Technology or Wealth Management
• Contributions as expert-level project resources include defining client requirements, configuring and tuning the solution to the client's business and technical needs, training clients, testing workflows and resolving issues before taking the client "live"
• Build effective working relationships, manage difficult situations and influence key decision-makers. They should also be able to evaluate these skills in their team members and provide feedback.
• Navigate complex client relationships as well as building strong business relationships and managing expectations with client stakeholders
• Manage reviews of client identified issues, present risk/issue remediation venues, facilitate decision making and execute on stakeholder directive
• Provide regular status updates and supporting project management reports as directed
• Work in a fast-paced, globally structured and team-based environment, as well as independently
• Travel required

Education and Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience with front office functionality, analytics and applications (i.e. Bloomberg PORT, CRD, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of financial and statistical concepts including modern portfolio theory and asset pricing theory
• Have advanced consulting skills.
• Strong interest in global capital markets and quantitative investments
• BS degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering required (MBA/CFA preferred
• Strong analytical, reconcilement and organizational skills
• BS degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering required (MBA/CFA preferred
• Competency in Agile Methodology and tools (i.e. JIRA, Rally, RTC)
