This position reports to Senior Director, Capital Markets and is responsible for assisting the Senior Treasury Director and other Capital Markets team members for various areas including but not limited to:

•    Debt capital market activities including bond issuances, interest rate & cross-currency swaps
•    Periodic net interest expense forecast, review and analysis of actuals and reporting results to Treasury Management
•     Quarter and year end processes and associated analyses for reported cash, debt and net interest expense impacting PEP P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements    
•    Ensure compliance with SOX, operating controls and other regulatory requirements     
•    Budgeting for the Capital Markets team and other ad hoc projects
•    Supporting Treasury capex review including associated Lease vs. Buy analysis

This role will interact closely with other Treasury team members including the Global Liquidity as well as other Corporate Finance functions including FP&A, Control, Tax and Legal teams and external banking partners

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury/Finance function, Banking or Financial consulting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, preferably from a top tier/rated school and/or CFA
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving skills with a strong sense of risk management and familiarity with bonds mathematics, financial derivatives VAR/correlations etc.
  • Excellence in Microsoft Excel including financial modelling & PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Quantum, Reval or Hyperion Financial
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors:
    • Drive for results and management of multiple priorities  
    • Team oriented and track record of collaboration across functional teams, and  
    • Excellent communication skills
